Survey!

It was a survey I’ll never forget. I was spending part of the summer with a friend in Madrid; we were doing some sightseeing around the city. The night before we went to see the Temple of Debod, it was huge and extremely beautiful because it was illuminated and you could see its reflection on the water. We wanted to visit the temple but it was only allowed in the morning so we went next day and then it’s when the most strange and hilarious thing happened to us.
We were heading off to the Puerta del Sol when suddenly an Englishman asked us if we could help him with a project he was doing for the university, as we hadn’t anything to do we accepted. At first he explained us that we had to record a video interviewing ourselves about two boys, and while we were recording it we got the giggles because it was so priceless. After, he asked us a lot of questions about our personality and our favourite colours. And putting the finishing touch to the survey he requested us a sock! We were surprised; we couldn’t believe he had asked us that so confidently. Elena and I burst out laughing but we consented. When he left we just started to exclaim: “An Englishman has just taken away one of our socks!”, “Mine was a geisha with pink flowers and yours a tiger, we are mad, aren’t we?” “…and it is mid-morning, 30 degrees!” “Oh God, our socks are going to travel farther than us!” We couldn’t stop laughing but at last we managed to stroll a bit before lunch.
That was by far the most incredible and unusual interview I’ve ever had. We couldn’t think about anything else afterwards and every time I tell someone this, they just can’t believe it, but it is true! I have got the other sock as a memento!

          Another task =)
